I had one at my last home in Houston. I loved it. The tractor tread started to find a way to come off the rails so I called the place I bought it, Leslies, and they fixed it under warranty. The new tread system was enclosed, if I recall correctly. I'm going to buy another for the pool I'm now having built in Florida.

Is the robot super heavy when you take it out of the water?
Not really, it drains extremely quick.
is the 50 ft cord also electric cord? So what happens if it leaks whole in water?
It is low voltage. And you're not supposed to swim while it is in the water.

My poor guy that comes to do my chemical says that that should be running every day but are you saying it only runs for 45 minutes cause I need a longer run time than that
I don't leave it in the pool. I use it twice a week. I do my own yard work and pool maintenance so I usally manually brush my pool at least 3 times a week.
